To configure Eudora's settings, choose Tools and then Options from the menu to input your settings. (If you are running the program for the first time, you will automatically be taken into the settings section)

There is a set of icons on the left side of the window, click once on each of these and then enter the below appropriate information. (If there is no information about a particular section, then you can assume that you don't need to make any changes for that section)

GETTING STARTED section:

POP Account: username@southland.net (replace "username" with your own username)

Real Name: Enter your real name here (unless you don't want it to appear on outgoing email)

PERSONAL INFORMATION section:

POP Account: username@southland.net

Real Name: Enter your real name here

Return Address: username@southland.net

Dialup username: leave blank

HOSTS section:

POP Account: username@southland.net

SMTP: mail.southland.net

Ph and Finger: leave blank

SENDING MAIL section:

Select the option "Immediate Send"

All of the other options can be configured to suit your individual needs.
